聚丙烯具有許多優(yōu)良特性：

1、相對密度小，僅為0.89-0.91，是塑料中最輕的品種之一。

2、良好的力學性能，除耐沖擊性外，其他力學性能均比聚乙烯好，成型加工性能好。

3、具有較高的耐熱性，連續(xù)使用溫度可達110-120℃。

4、化學性能好，幾乎不吸水，與絕大多數(shù)化學藥品不反應。

5、質(zhì)地純凈，無毒性。

6、電絕緣性好。

7、聚丙烯制品的透明性比高密度聚乙烯制品的透明性好。

PP聚丙烯用途：

    （1）薄膜制品：聚丙烯薄膜制品透明而有光澤，對水蒸汽和空氣的滲透性

小，它分為吹膜薄膜、流延薄膜（CPP）、雙向拉伸薄膜（BOPP）等
    （2）注塑制品：可用于汽車、電氣、機械、儀表、無線電、紡織、國防等
工程配件，日用品，周轉(zhuǎn)箱，醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生器材，建筑材料。  
    （3）擠塑制品：可做管材、型材、單絲、漁用繩索。打包帶、捆扎繩、編
織袋，纖維，復合涂層，片材，板材等。吹塑中空成型制品各種小型容器等。
    （4）其它：低發(fā)泡、鈣塑板，合成木材，層壓板，合成紙，高發(fā)泡可作結(jié)
構(gòu)泡沫體。
